Kathy and Shaun were married on Saturday at K’s parents home in Boring, OR…they just finished building their house and have a small tree nursury…very cool place for a wedding. Like all my couples, I had K&S email me an updated schedule a couple of weeks before their wedding. While I was looking through theirs, I noticed that Kathy had a listed a coin tradition that her mother does while Kathy is getting ready. I later learned that this is a Swedish Wedding Tradition that they have carried on for generations. I did a bit of research on it this week, I am 25% Swedish, and found out it actually originated in Nigeria. Here is a link if you’re interested LINK.
