Avril & Derek

Two Saturdays ago, I photographed Avril & Derek’s beautiful wedding in SE Portland at the Hinson Baptist Church. Of course, my luck ran out and it rained all day but that didn’t stop us from getting some awesome portraits inside…we are in Oregon afterall. A&D were a ton of fun to work with and I had some good laughs throughout the evening. Congratulations to Avril & Derek! HERE is the link to their complete gallery.

Schmidt Boys

So…I’m really, really bad at taking photos of my boys. On Friday morning I walked to the park with Nursun & Abdur and decided to take a camera along. Here they are in their hockey sweaters at Jaquith park in Newberg. abdur=grey, nursun=blue

Elyce & Tibor

This past Saturday, I joined Elyce & Tibor for their wedding at The Anderson Lodge in Ariel, WA.  I haven’t photographed a wedding at the lodge for a bit and I was amazed at the amount of work that Vicki & Arvid had done up at the Hilltop House since I shot there last…it looks amazing! Perhaps even more amazing was the fact that the weather was so nice for February.  E&T were able to have their ceremony outside when there could have just as easily been a foot of snow up there. Incredible light, incredible couple, great wedding. Here are my favorites and a link to their gallery here.

Erin & Gil

This past weekend I traveled to Eugene for Erin & Gil’s engagement photo session. I met the two of them and started their shoot at Gutenberg College, where they’re both students. Gutenberg is a small Great Books School located only a couple of blocks from Mac Court at the UofO. Their main building is really awesome…historic, brick, and has some very nice windows providing some great natural light.  After a few bit, we headed to the Amazon Trail for a different backdrop. The sun was shining and we got some really nice outside stuff…considering it’s still mid-February. I’ve added my favorites and you can view their whole collection in their GALLERY.
